NEW ADAM FRANK ESSAY ON EVE'S POETICS

  RELATED - PUBLICATIONS

Building on his talk given at the symposium “An Open Mesh of Possibilities: Thinking Through Queerness with Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick’s Archive,” Adam Frank’s new essay, “Bristle, Delicate, Rescue: On Sedgwick’s Poetics” has been published in the Duke University journal Differences. The essay thinks through Sedgwick’s memoir A Dialogue on Love to “unfold several aspects of her poetics: an erotics of bristling criticism, an ethics of delicate attention, and a politics of rescue acutely aware of its own destructive impulses and motives.” It is available to read online for a limited time.
